Seen Sounds is a library archive started in 2018 to chronicle and glorify the art of turning sound into sight and to empower the silent creators.

Seen Sounds has been a passion side project since 2010 in different forms and names but since then has accumulated a growing social media presence and an archive website to collect and document record artwork, videos, photography and design.

Technologies

The website itself is a bespoke creation, crafted using React, Gatsby, and Prismic frameworks, while incorporating ThreeJS visual effects and seamless CMS integration with Prismic through Airtable. Each record artwork showcased on the platform features an interactive 3D hover-over effect, inviting users to engage with and explore the artistry in an immersive manner. Additionally, the music videos on Seen Sounds are presented in a unique 3D cinema room experience, wherein the perspective dynamically shifts based on the position of the cursor, heightening the viewers' connection with the audiovisual content.
